Create a new database connection by opening the file menu, click new, database

The database name dialog will be displayed, enter the name of your database here, and click the ok button. This name is will appear in the database browser window.

The database connection dialog is displayed next, this is where you setup how your database establishs a connection.

There are two connection types.

• Data Link File - Use the browse to location a "data link", or "ODBC dsn" file.
• Connection String - Enter a connection string, or use the Build button to build a connection string.
