You are first prompted with a list of database drivers, select the driver for the database type you plan to connect to. For example: If you wanted to connect to a Microsoft Access Database then you would select the driver "". After you have selected your database driver click Finish.

Then you're prompted with a database setup dialog, the setup dialog for each database driver are different. For example: The picture below shows the setup dialog for a Microsoft Access Database. To connect to an Access database you would press the "Select" button and locate the database you want to connect to, then enter a "Datasource Name", and click "Ok".
