Extended Find and Replace let you search and replace a block of text with another block of text. You can search the current document, or a folder including its subdirectories. You can also specific the types of files you want to scan.

When replacing text in files, use the Backup File option to keep a copy of the old file before the replacement.

After the find and replace operation has finished the tool window will display a file list with the results. Double-click an item in the list and that file will load in the editor.
